Messrs. Kirk, Milland Massey
November 15, 1979
Page Two
•
This change in sequencing, while minor, does require some
recalculation of the topsoil to be removed and the schedule
for re-grading and re-application. The following maps and
tables have been changed in response to the change in the mine
plan:
MAPS
#1 Energy Mines No. 1 and 2 - Mine Plan
$2 Eckman Park - Mine Plan
#32 Early Development Stage Sketch
#41 Energy Mines No. 1 and 2 - Topsoil Removal, Storage,
Redistribution and Revegetation
#42 Eckman Park - Topsoil Removal, Storage, Redistri-
bution and Revegetation
$43 Energy Mines No. 1 and 2 - Spoil Grading Plan
$44 Eckman Park - Spoil Grading Plan
$48 Energy Mines No. 1 and 2 - Post-Mining Topography
$49 Eckman Park - Post-Mining Topography
TABLES
83 780-16
94 780-78, 79, 80
95 780-81, 82
Also, the change precipitates a minor revision to the
narrative accompanying the permit application. The following
pages have been rewritten for insertion in the permit
application in place of the original pages bearing the same
numbers.
PAGE CHANGES
780-3, 6, 7, 9, 9(a), 10, 12, 12(a), 13, 14, 15, 109,
110, 111, 226
816-6, 12, 14, 121, 122, 125, 126
It is our understanding that these changes are viewed by
you as relatively minor and should not result in any delay in
the processing of the permit application. We will undertake
to incorporate the maps and pages in the applications which
have been distributed to the several agencies, including the
United States Geological Survey and the Bureau of Land
Management. We would appreciate any assistance you might be
able to give us in this regard.
