Sealing of Drill Holes and Underground Openings -Rules 2.05,4(2)(g), <br />and 4.OT <br />Closure plans for drill holes, mine portals and shafts are delineated on pages <br />4-69 through 4-69a of Volume I. <br />Monitoring wells when reclaimed must not be filled to the surface with <br />concrete as described on pages 4-69 and 4-69a. Therefore, the following <br />stipulation is required: <br />Stipulation No. 10 <br />DURING RECLAMATION OF MONITORING WELL DRILL HOLES THE TOP 3 FEET OF THE <br />HOLE MUST BE BACKFILLED WITH DRILL CUTTINGS, SOIL MATERIALS, OR OTHER <br />SOFT, FRIABLE MATERIAL AS AVAILABLE SO AS NOT TO PRECLUDE CULTIVATION <br />OF THE AREA WHERE DRILL HOLES EXIST. <br />With the acceptance of the above stipulation, the proposed operation is in <br />compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />
