<br /> <br />FIGURE 2.03.12 A <br />Public Notice <br />Powderhorn Coal Company, P. 0. Box 1430, Palisade, CO 81526, <br />has filed with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />an application for transfer of ownership of Development and <br />Extraction Mining Permit Number 77-442 and pending permit <br />number C-041-81 associated with the Roadside and Cameo No. 1 <br />Mines and their surface operations and facilities. The <br />permit area covered by these two permits is located at Cameo, <br />Colorado, three miles north of Palisade, Colorado and split <br />by Interstate 70 and the Colorado River and encompassed <br />within the following lands: T10S, R96W, 6th PM, Sections <br />20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34 and 35 and T115, R98W, <br />6th PM, Sections 1 and 2. The location of the permit area <br />is contained in the U. S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Cameo <br />Quadrangle map. <br />The owner of areas to be affected by the surface operations <br />and facilities is the Powderhorn Properties Company. A <br />copy of the application for transfer is available for public <br />inspection at the Mesa County Clerk and Recorders Office, <br />Mesa County Courthouse, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501. <br />Written comments regarding the application for transfer may <br />be submitted to and additional information obtained from <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, Room 423, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80202, Phone 303-866-3567. <br />
