Waldron:
C_o1oa~.de Y~t.,reJ• .
February 5, 1991
fL
~ •20A't-
On February &, 1991, I shipped to the Division, via UPS,
five copies of Lillylands Inc.'s application for a permit to
conduct coal mining in Colorado. This permit application con-
sists of two volumes so the Division should have received a total
of ten "books".
The application fee for this permit is 52500 in accord with
Rule 2.01.6. The applicant has elected to pay the fee over the
term of the permit. Therefore, enclosed is 5500, traenty percent
of the total permit fee.
After the Division determines that the permit application is
complete and assuming there has been no informal conference, the
Division must issue a proposed decision, granting er de^3•ing the
permit in whole or in part, within 120 days. This time frame is
subject to a 60 dap extension if the application is unusually
complex or controversial. Because of the probable need for more
extensive baseline vegetation information, the applicant hereby
naives its right to a decision within 120 days. It is anticipat-
ed that additional baseline vegetation information, if required,
can be collected and submitted to the Division so a decision can
be issued within 180 daps.
Enclosed sre five copies of a letter from the landowner that
r.ere left out of the application. This letter contains the
landowners comments about the proposed postmining land use and it
belongs in Exhibit 8 of Volume I.
