2. The Division tentatively agrees with Peabody West that the culverts,
ae proposed, should adequately pass a 10 year, 24 hour event.
However, the Division's acreage values for culverts HG14 and HG15 do
not agree with those values submitted by Peabody Weet. It also
appears ae if the flow from HG14 passes through HG15 with additional
flow being contibuted from below the proposed haul road.
Please submit a map showing the aubwatersheds leading to each
culvert and the time of concentration travel path for each
subwaterehed. Please also explain the ditches to either aide of the
proposed haul road.
3. The Division received no submittal from Peabody Weet as to the costa
of reclaiming the roadways in question and the proposed truck
loadout.
Please submit this information.
4. Peabody Weet will need to revise its state air emissions permit for
the truck loadout facility if this has not been included in the
current permit (this could be dealt with ae a stipulation to the
permit).
Please submit a revised air emisiona permit to the permit
application package.
5. In page 3 of the submittal, at the top of the page, no change has
been made in the length of existing haul road.
Please revise this page to account for the actual length of haul
rood within the permit area (see ~2, above).
Thank you for your submital. Should you require additional information, please
contact me at my office.
Sincerely,
Stephen F. Wathen
Reclamation Specialist
