Dear Mr. Wathen:
I have reviewed the correspondence and notes related to
acquisition of the above-referenced permit. The following list
represents my understanding of items that need to be taken care
of prior to permit issuance.
1. Revise the Permit Application Packaqe (PAP) at Tab 20 to
reflect the use of Medicaao falcata instead of Medicaao
sativa in the rangeland seed mix.
2. Revise the PAP at Tab 20 to clarify the species diversity
standard for determining revegetation success.
3. Incorporate the Routt County Special Use Permit into the PAP
when it is issued.
4. Revise the application form in the PAP to reflect State
ownership of land (acreage).
5. Revise Exhibit 4-1 to show hydrologic structures within and
in close proximity (those that could potentially be
impacted) to the permit area. Provide an appropriate
reference to the revised exhibit in Tab 7 of the PAP.
6. Update the list of water rights in the PAP at Attachment 14-
1.
7. Show the locations of small area exemption acreages on
Exhibit 12-2.
In addition, it is agreed that we will meet at the facility
during the June inspection to look at drainage control and
culverts, alluvial valley floor areas, and the manner in which
the stream buffer zone is signed.
Please compare this list against yours and notify me of any
additional items that need to be addressed. I hope to submit the
revised materials by May 15, 1993.
