They will be presented in a point by
point fashion to ensure that all your concerns have been satisfied.
1) Haul Foad Crossing the Undisturbed Drainage in Pit #2.
A. The mine plan has been modified to the extent that
the haul road will not cross the drainage, but will be re-
located as indicated on the enclosed mine plan map. The road
will not cross any drainages and therefore will not require any
fill material.
B. This no longer is a problem because the road will
no longer cross the drainage and therefore will not need
reconstruction.
C. This point is noted and will be addressed in the
permanent program suksnittal.
2) The areal extent and limited life expectancy of this over-
burden stockpile Hake it a prime candidate for a small area exemption.
Furthermore, a berm is in place around the stockpile which capture
the runoff from the pile. It is TBt9's feeling that construction of
a ditch or pond to provide sediment control would do no environmental
harm then retaining the current system as it is. Therefore, TBM
requests that this area be given a small area exemption status.
P. O. Box 758, Golden, Colorado 80407 Telephone (303) 278-8665
