<br /> <br />capability for recreation is based on its landscape variety, <br />wildlife and terrain suitable for snowmobiling. The rocky <br />outcrops on the north side of Foidel Creek both have low <br />capability based on their rock formations and landscape <br />variety. There are no fishing opportunities on the lease <br />application areas. <br />Elk and deer are present on and adjacent to the application <br />areas. These big game animals provide good viewing oppor- <br />tunities in the winter months. A major part of the area is <br />visible from Routt County Aoad 27. <br />At least one historic site is present on the tract and <br />possibly two other sites near Pinnacle Peak. All historic <br />sites have human interest value. <br />The most significant resource in the area of tracts is <br />Energy's ~1 mine, which is fully visible from County Road 27 <br />and provides opportunities to see all steps of the mining <br />operations. The capability rating for this area is moderate- <br />ly high (class 3) (see legend for Figure 7), based on the <br />human interest characteristics of the mining and reclamation <br />operations.
