Since that
time we have had numerous meetings and discussions concerning the proposed
stipulations and have resolved a fair number of them. This letter is intended
to formalize our response to each of the proposed stipulations and to set the
stage for the final resolution of each of the outstanding issues. It is our
intent to incorporate as much of the necessary information into the permit
application package as possible and to thereby minimize the number of stipulations.
We are anxious to work with you in this regard.
Also, a few of the proposed stipulations pertain to complex issues which have not
yet been clarified by CMLR. We have not responded to these issues and look forward
to further discussions with you aimed at a practical resolution to each.
We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and pragmatic approach you have maintained
as we have worked through the issues. We hope the remaining issues can be re-
solved as quickly as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate
to call Jim Ericson or myself.
Sincerely,
~.....tif-~~
Dean R.
