NOTICE
The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a
proposed decision appr~~v,ing a technical revision under the provisions
of the Colorado Surface~Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The technical
revision was submitted by Blue Ribbon Coal Company P. 0. Box 58 Delta,
CO 81416 for their Blue Ribbon Mine located in Delta County approximately
nine (9) miles northeast of Paonia, Colorado. The following is a legal
description of the Blue Ribbon Mine permit area:

The revision involves providing the Blue Ribbon Mine with an
additional supply of coal which should be sufficient to allow
operations to continue until the permanent program review of the
application has been completed.
Copies of the revision can be obtained from the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Division, 423 Centennial Building, 1313
Sherman St.,Denver, CO 80203, [phone]. Any person who
has an interest which is or may be adversely affected may request
a formal hearing on the decision by the Division. These requests
must be made within 10 days of this publication shall be in writing
and state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and
objections to the proposed decision.
