Lamm <br />Governor. <br />August 6, 1986 <br />Mr. Carwin 8leidt <br />Blue Flame Coal Mine Company <br />1001 East 2nd Avenue <br />Durango, Colorado 81301 <br />Re: Blue Flame Coal Mine - Proposed Decision - File No. C-81-053 <br />Dear Mr. Bleidt: <br />Enclosed please find a copy of the "Proposed Decision and Findings of <br />Compliance for the Blue Flame Coal Mine." Please review this document <br />carefully and contact this office immediately if there are any problems. <br />The Division has forwarded the public notice regarding our decision to approve <br />this permit application to the Durango Herald. This notice should be <br />published in the very near future. <br />As previously discussed, this proposed decision will become final thirty (30) <br />days after the first publication, assuming no requests for a formal public <br />hearing are made. During this comment period Blue Flame should complete and <br />forward to this office the following items. Receival of these items will <br />expedite permit issuance once the proposed decision becomes final. <br />1. Replacement pages for the permit application document. As you <br />know, a number of issues changed during the adequacy review <br />process. Before the permit can be issued, the permit application <br />must be revised to reflect all final agreements. The replacement <br />pages should be dated in the lower right hand corner to denote the <br />page was revised. o <br />2. Bond in the amount of ;10,000. The bonding documents were <br />previously sent to you. If you have any questions about these <br />documents, please contact Ms. Diana Knode at this office. Before <br />the permit can be issued, an acceptable E10,000 bond must be <br />received. <br />Your cooperation during the permitting process has been appreciated.
