Gorham
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Minerals & Geology
1313 Sherman Street, Rm. 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Re: Lorencito Canyon Mine
Dear Mr. Gorham:
We have reviewed the information and conversed with Anne McKibbin
of Metcalf Archaeological Consultants concerning site 5LA7194, a
site that needs testing to determine eligibility.
5LA7194 is located on the east side of Lorencito Creek and it is
our understanding that no disturbance is planned for this area.
Therefore, we concur that there will be no effect to this site by
project activities. However, if there are changes in these plans
or if the Lorencito Creek channel is changed, testing of this site
will need to be completed.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this project. If we
may be of further assistance please contact Jim Green at (303) 866-
4674.
Sincerely,
~~ ~ «.
Susan M.
