DEPARTM~T OF NATURAL RESOURCES
D. Monte Pascoe. Execulw~Directn~
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION
DAVID C. SHELTON Director
Ric ha~tl D Lamm
Govemw
DATE: February 22, 1983
T0: Sandy Emrich
FROM: Roy L. Cox
RE: Review of Responses to the PAR for the Foidel Creek Mine
Permit Revision Application, File No. C-056-82
In my review of the responses to the PAR and the permit
revision application, I have identified several inadequacies.
The most critical inadequacy in the application is the lack of
an adequate section on probable hydrologic consequences of
mining (PHC). This section is extremely important in preparing
the cumulative hydrologic impact study (CHIS) and also in
judging the applicants ability to meet the performance
standards under 4.05.
The adequacy review comments and requests are organized below
using the headings and citations used in the preliminary
adequacy review.
423 Centennial Building. 7313 Sherman Street Denver.
