~.. <br />Page Two <br />September 13, 1982 <br />Mr. Mike Savage <br />It is my understanding from your telephone conversation of <br />September 10, 1982 that it is not practical for Trinidad Basin <br />Mining to return to work however a:Eter the acceptance of the <br />permit conditions at the meeting of September 17, 1982 that some <br />form of limited mining could be commenced such as reclamation <br />on the North Side of the permit, silt structure construction, and <br />a limited continuation on the south side of the permit area, while <br />the thirty (30) days advertising is taking place. <br />Also, it is my understanding, from the meeting, that if we <br />submit the load-out revision at Ludlow at or before the advertising <br />of Trinidad Basin Mining's permit that it will be checked during <br />the thrity (30) days the permit is being advertised and that <br />at or near Trinidad Basin Mining's permit approval the load-out <br />could be advertised. <br />Mike, I again want to thank you and the Department for the <br />courtesies shown us in the past and look forward to a continued <br />healthly working relationship. <br />Yours truly, <br />AMERI~A"N MATERIALS, INC. <br />/,. <br />Ben T. nn <br />BTQ/dn <br />xc: Mr. Bob Little <br />Mr. Brian Munson <br />Mr. Vance Mills <br />
