Thank you for your letter of May 29. ~tf, which included the I~dditional infoz-
mation Irequested for the m#ne fan technical rsvieioa. Untortyndtaly, I didn't
request you to explain how the opening for the fan will be sealed after the
fan ie removed. All old openings or portals which are in use must be sealed
by the operator after use. plea~a Bend that infO;niaoion in to ms.
Another .more important problem ie the fact that the fan ie located outside
the current permit boundary, In order to accept the fan technical reviaioa,
a permit area "swap" moat be completed, This means adding some area to the
permit boundary around the fnn and aor~Minging it for another undisturbed area
of equal size. By doing this,.blua Ribbon will artoid having an increase in
the bond amount.
On the enclosed map T hsvs penciled is a sugQasted eras for trade. This would
trade an equal portion ot'land from the northwest corner of the permit area
for the fan area. If thi.i ds acceptable, measure #t out and ink ii in red.
If there is a prefsrrable area of trad~Y'pencll it in until I look at it or
else we'll waste a map. The map and Other information must ba subwtttad by
June 24, 1980.
