Long <br />Division Dveclor <br />The Division issued mining Permit No. C-96-084 to Lorencito Coal Company for the Lorencito Canyon <br />Mine on November 7, 1997. The operation is a combined surface and underground coal mine located in <br />Las Animas County, approximately 3 miles West of Segundo on Hwy 12. Coal interest is private, and the <br />surface to be affected is private land.
