5. If La Plata Coal is the only surface owner within the area to be affected <br />by subsidence, the discussion on pages 4,19-4.20-1 pertaining to public <br />notice for subsidence may be deleted. However, if there is more than one <br />landowner, La Plata Coal will need to notify them. The Division suggests <br />that this notification be done by writing the other landowners a letter <br />(which would satisfy Rule 4.20.2) rather than publishing a notice in the <br />Durango Herald as currently discussed. <br />Maps - (Rule 2.10) <br />Volume 2 contains the mine maps referenced <br />application.
