This study area should be expanded <br />to consider potential alluvial valley floors in or adjacent to the life of <br />mine boundary. Also, the RVF study area must include alI of Thompson Creek <br />down to and including its confluence with the Crystal River. <br />We strongly encourage that Snowmass resolve the AVF determination as <br />soon as possible. If Alluvial valley FZoors are identified within the <br />"affected area", Snowmass will need to shocv compliance with Section 2.06.8(9) - <br />"Application contents for operations affecting alluvial valley floors"). <br />IX. Fish and Wildlife, Vegetation, and Post-Mining Land~Use <br />Comments concerning this category will be sent separately to Snowmass in <br />the near future. <br />X. Miscellaneous Snformation <br />A. Snowmass has not responded to our additional adequacy letter dated <br />August Z8, 1981, concerning the Xeiser Seivers ditch. <br />
