(303) 839-3567 <br />D8Y1(t C. $heltOn <br />Director <br />February 27, 1981 <br />Mr. Kent Crofts <br />Energy Fuels Corporation <br />Box G <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado 80477 <br />Re: Energy Fuels No. 3 Request for Release of Liability on Seven <br />Reclaimed Tracts <br />Dear Kent: <br />This letter serves as a documentation of the outcome of the Board's <br />February 25, 1981 decision concerning Energy Fuels No. 3 mine, agenda item <br />No. 30. <br />On Wednesday, February 25, 1981, the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />considered Energy Fuels Corporation's request to have seven tracts of reclaimed <br />land released from liability at the Energy Mine No. 3. Board members present <br />were Dr. Richard T. Ward, John D. lJard, Sherman 81ach and Hamlet Barry. <br />After considering the Division's recommendation that the request be granted, <br />the Board unanimously passed the following motion: <br />That the Board release Energy Fuels Corporation from liability in areas A <br />through G at their No. 3 mine leaving for the time being the calculation <br />whether specific bond amounts should be returned to the operator until <br />processing and approval of the reapplication under the new Coal Act. - <br />End of Motion. <br />Thank you for your patience in waiting for this item to be considered and <br />please express our thanks to the staff of Energy Fuels Corporation for <br />contributing to successful mine land reclamation in Colorado. <br />Sincerely, <br />Robert G.
