Your request for waiver of Fiscal Rule Chapter 3 Section 1.20 has been granted. You may
request State Purchasing to issue a purchase order to hire an engineer for the design project at
the O.C. #2 mine. The cost of this service should not exceed $10,000. The term of this
waiver is for the current fiscal year only, if you have additional projects of this type you will
need to request another waiver from this office. All future services of this type must be
purchased in accordance with State Fiscal Rules.
