Natural Resources
This letter, superceding my letter of May 13, 1979, will serve to
confirm the understanding between Dorchester and G.E.C. regarding,Dor-
chester's use of a portion of the surface mined-out p:•~~perties covered
by G.E.C.'s February 10, 1976 lease with the Corley Cun~pany. A map
showing the location of the ground is attached.
In connection with the foregoing lease we have talked with Thomas R.
Young, Executive Yice President of the Wyoming Fuel Company, and he has
agreed that this surface lease will not interfere with his future oper-
ations provided that Dorchester agrees to grant Wyoming Fuel a right-of-
way through parts of the area as expressed in Wyoming Fuel's letter to
you of May 11, 1979 (copy attached). Dorchester hereby agrees to grant
such a right-of-way in the event that Wyoming Fuel exercises their
option with G.E.C.
Specifically, we understand that G.E.C . authorizes Dorchester to
use these lands in connection with Dorchester's exploration, development.
mining and marketing activities on its adjacent and nearby properties in
Fremont County.
