The application was submitted by Bowie Resources Limited on February <br />12, 1996, for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice <br />in the Delta Cowry /ndependent. <br />The underground mine is located approximately five miles northeast of Paonia, at the old townsite of Bowie. <br />Copies of the permit application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and <br />at the Delta County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
