Balaz R Associates, Inc. proposes to joint venture with ItiL,H Enguneering <br />Group of Grand Junction. I~L.H will provide surveyurg and computer generated topographic maps <br />including cross sections. Balaz & Associates, Ltc. will provide the engineering for the post mining <br />topography map ittcludutg slope stability analysis and the hydrologic reclarnation plan. <br />Balaz & Associates and KI.H anticipate a project scope that includes a site visit to verifj the <br />topography and survey sufficient points to allow the generation of a current topographic map. We <br />project this to be dte inclusion of the sediment pond built in 1984 attd any drainage ditches <br />constructed to direct surface runoi3~to the pond prior to discharge. Maps and cross sections will be <br />developed ott ffie computer to provide a cost effective method of generating dte maps and <br />transferring data. <br />Balaz & Associates and I~LH provide a strong project team with experience in all facets of the <br />projectvtcludutg on site work at the O.C. #2 Mine as demonstrated on the attached Statement of <br />Qualifications. <br />Thank you for your uuerest in Balaz & Associates, Inc. and KLH Engineering Group and the <br />opportunity to provide this Statement of Qualifications.
