The coal processing area will <br />consist of a crusher and a conveyor. Drainage from this area ~ <br />will be controlled by Pond 'K'. The mine office area will <br />consist of the existing 40ft x 60ft vehicle maintenance shed and <br />an office trailer to be added in the future. The mine office <br />area is served by an existing sediment pond and diversion ditches <br />that were not shown on the original permit application maps. The <br />location and configuration of the pond are shown on the attached <br />drawings. <br />The pond, termed Pond 'Z', services an area of approximately <br />2.1 acres. This includes an area of prior disturbance. Part of <br />the disturbed area which is outside the permit boundary drains to <br />a depression on the south side of the haul road. A 12 inch <br />diameter CMP culvert discharges from this depression into Pryor <br />Canyon Creek at a point just east of Pond 'Z'. <br /> <br />
