~. <br />816.131-.132 CESSATION OF OPERATIONS Cv3, PP• 816-165 to 816-166) <br />816.131 CESSATION OF OPERATION: TEMPORARY <br />Energy Fuels has contracted to sell the coal from the <br />proposed permit area and does not intend to suspend <br />mining activities during the permit period. In the <br />event that an unanticipated suspension of mining <br />activity should occur and extend beyond thirty (30) <br />days, Energy Fuels will submit to the Colorado MLRB <br />and the OSM a notice of intention to cease or abandon <br />mining and reclamation operations. This notice will <br />include a statement of the exact number of acres dis- <br />turbed in the permit area, prior to Cemporary cessation, <br />the extent and kind of reclamation of those areas that <br />has been accomplished, and identification of the back- <br />filling, regrading, revegetation, environmental moni- <br />toring and water treatment activities that will continue <br />during the temporary cessation. <br />816.132 CESSATION OF OPERATIONS: PERMANENT (v3, pp• 816-166 to 816-170) <br />Upon the permanent conclusion of surface mining operations, <br />Energy Fuels will close, backfill or otherwise permanently <br />reclaim all affected areas as set forth in the permit <br />application, Sections 780.16, 780.18, 780.21, 780.23, 780.25 <br />and 780.27. Any equipment, structures or other facilities <br />not required for postmining land use or environmental <br />monitoring will be removed and the land areas reclaimed <br />to a level of land use and productivity consistent with <br />premining land use (v3,pp. .b16-i6.7, 816.-168) <br />Stipulations <br />None <br />Summary of Compliance <br />Will Comply. <br />-96- <br />
