Pulford <br />District Manager <br />Bureau of Land Management <br />455 Emerson Street <br />Craig, Colorado 81625 <br />RE: Coal Lease C-081251 and C-081258, Seneca II-Nest Mine, <br />Routt County, Colorado <br />Dear Mr. Pulford: <br />This office has reviewed your correspondence of February 28, 1985 and correspondence <br />from the Office of Surface Mining concerning the above Proposed proiect. <br />We concur that sites SRT8, and 120 are eligible to the National Resister of Historic <br />Places. These sites may yield information important to prehistory. SRT132 appears <br />to be heavily disturbed and we feel that the undisturbed portions should be tested <br />before a determination of eligibility is made. <br />Sites SRT120, 121, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 133, 134, 136, 137, and 138 are <br />not eligible to the National Register. These sites are isolated finds, deteriorated <br />historic structures and small lithic scatters that will not yield further information <br />important to history or prehistory. <br />SRT8 and 120 are located outside the impact area and will not he affected by nroiect <br />activities. SRT132 is to be posted and avoided by nroiect activities.
