Dept. of Natural Resources
Per my phone conversation yesterday to Mr. Munson, please find five (5)
copies of the Grand Mesa Coal Company Hydrologic and Alluvial Valley Floor
Report For the Red Canyon mines.
It is Grand Mesa Coal Company's belief that all concerns raised by the
Division are properly addressed. The hydrologic study fortunately indicates
that many of the concerns raised by the Division were not real in terms of
material damage potential.
Hopefully, completion of the permit application review and the Findings
Document can now proceed in a timely fashion.
Sincerely,
/lr
Grand Mesa Coal Company
By: Western Associated Coal Corp.
A General Partner
By: 1 ° a.` ~. ~o~
William S.
