Lamm Governor PUBLIC NOTICE This publication constitutes public notice of the Colorado i4ined Land Reclamation Division to approve, with stipulations, an application for five-year permit to conduct coal mining in accordance with the Colorado Surface pining Reclamation Act of 1919. The permit application was submitted by Twin Pines Coal Company, Inc., P.O. Box 749, Canon City, Colorado 81212, for the Tnin Pines i1o. 2 f-tine. The mine is a proposed, underground coal ;nine, located in Fremont County, 2 1/2 miles south~.vest of the town of Rockvalz in Fremont County, Colorado. The legal description of the proposed mine is as follows: Parts of the S 1/2, Sec. 35, T19S, R7067, parts of Sec. 1, 7205, R10':J and parts of Sec. 2, T205, R701J of the 6th P.i~1., containing approximately 127 acres. The surface of the proposed permit area is owned by ~~iuliano S Sons Coal Company. The five-year permit tern will allo•,v reclamation at Twin Pines No. 1 i4in2 and initiate mining at the Tdin ?inns ilo. 2 ~•tine. The proposed date of commencement of the operation is January 1, 1931. A copy of the proposed decision may be obtained from fire Colorado ~•lined Land Reclamation Division, Room 423, Centennial 3uilding, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203-2273. Any person rtith an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may request a fornal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Such a request must be made to the Division at the above address •.vithin 30 days of the first publication of this notice, be in writing, and state witil reasonable specificity the reasons for the request and objzctions to the proposed decision. /th Doc.
