By installing the inlet which we propose, the exist-
ing 48 inch culvert will effectively function, judged in terms
of the applicable regulatory performance standard, in a manner
equivalent to a 72 inch culvert.
We have enclosed with this letter the requisite copies
of the proposed culvert inlet design, including supporting cal-
culations and a plan and profile. Also enclosed is an explana-
tory letter with regard to the culvert inlet design prepared by
Mr. Leslie Botham of Leonard Rice Consulting Water Engineers,
Inc. The culvert inlet design was proposed and prepared by
Leonard Rice Consulting Water Engineers, Inc. Thus if you
have any questions regarding this matter, please contact either
myself or Mr. Leslie Botham directly.
