PUBLIC NOTICE <br />This publication constitutes notice of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division's proposed decision approving an application for a permit to conduct <br />surface coal mining under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining <br />Reclamation Act of 1979, which was submitted by H-G Coal Company, 3333 puebec <br />Street, Suite 8800, Denver, Colorado 80207. The effective date of this <br />decision is January 4, 1982. <br />The area to be mined is located in Routt County, approximately 30 miles <br />south of Hayden, Colorado along county highway 53. A loadout which is <br />associated with the operations and is included in the application is situated <br />approximately 2 miles southeast of the town of Hayden. <br />Two stipulations have been included in this approval to ensure environmental <br />protection by the surface coal mining operation. Copies of the proposed <br />decision, including all stipulations, can be obtained from the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Division, Room 423, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203, (303J 866-3567. A copy is also on file at the office <br />of the Routt County Clerk at the Routt County Courthouse in Steamboat Springs, <br />Colorado. Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by <br />the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board on the proposed decision. Such a request must be made by <br />January 4, 1982, be in writing and state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and the objections to the proposed decision. <br />
