Dept. of N~iul;li keuuttllb <br />-- Coal Gulch Mine Permit <br />Pursuant to your letter dated January 9, 1?95, we have reviewed <br />Peerless Resources proposal to mine approximately 200,000 tons of <br />coal per year from an area that has been previously disturbed by <br />mining five miles west of Durango, Colorado. <br />Sind this area has been previously mined and no ;uidiY,i~nal <br />surface disturbance is proF+osed, we have no objection to <br />issuance of this permit. We would request, however, that you <br />speci.fi.cally contact the Divisir_~n of Wildlife.
