A February 15, 1981 letter from GEX attached to Volume I of the <br />application identified portions of the application that contain confidential <br />information. Pursuant to Section 507(6)(17), 30 U,S,C. 1257(b)(17) only <br />information pertaining to analysis of the physical and chemical properties of <br />the coal may be kept confidential and not made a matter of public record. <br />Review of the secticns, appendices, and exhibits that have been identified in <br />the February 15, 1981 letter as confidential do not contain information <br />pertaining to the physical and chemical properties of the coal. This office <br />cannot consider this information confidential.
