The analysis was simi- <br />lar to that performed by us for the Pit 4 Sediment Pond and in accordance with <br />comments from the Mined Land P.eclamation Division. <br />The size of the dewatering hole should be four-inches in diameter. This <br />will provide a 24-hour detention time for the 10-year 24-hour storm. The hole <br />should be placed approximately one foot above the bottom of the spillway riser. <br />A half round CMP baffle similar to that shown for the Pit 4 pond should be <br />installed around the dewatering hole. <br />A copy of our calculations is included.
