i NOTICE Please take notice that the Colorado Yampa Coal Company (CYCC), Post Office Box 774288, Steamboat Springs, Colorado 80477, has submitted an application ' to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for a technical revision to CYCC's existing Permit 76-16, to include an incidental permit boundary revision and design changes to the regulated sedimentation control structures pursuant to the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979, 1973 C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seg. ' The area which is the subject of surface mining activities by CYCC, pursuant to the existing Permit No. 76-16, is located approximately 10 miles southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, via Routt County Road 33, and approximately 17 miles southeast of Hayden, Colorado, via U.S. Highway 40 and Routt County Road Nos. 27 and 33. The permit is situated in the Twentymile Park area of Routt County. The main facilities of CYCC are located near the abandoned Foidel Creek schoolhouse on Routt County Road 27. 1 i II This technical revision application requests an incidental permit boundary revision in a portion of the Energy Mine No. 3 tipple area, located in N 1/2, SE 1/4, Section 2, TSN, R86W, 6th P.M., in order to incorporate re- quired changes to the regulated sedimentation control structures. A map showing the exact location and boundaries of the existing permit area, as well as the approximately 19 acres associated with the permit boundary change, accompanies this Notice.
