These resources have not been evaluated for inclusion in the <br />National Register. However, they muse be considered to be Eligible for <br />inclusion in the National Register until a formal determination has been <br />1'! completed. <br />C 7 Information* regarding cultural resources pending nomination to or on the <br />national Register of Historic Places in the proposed project area is attached. <br />Our files contain incomplete information for this area as the vast majority of <br />Colorado has not been inventoried. There is the possibility that as yet uniden- <br />tified Cultural Resources exist within the proposed impact area. <br />Therefore, in the event that there is Federal involvement, we recommend that <br />Che federal agency conduct a professional survey to identify any Eligible <br />Cultural Resources in the proposed project area. <br />We anticipate consultation with this office regarding '. he Effect of the proposed <br />project on any Eligible resource i¢ accordance with the Advisory Council <br />Procedures for the Preservation and Protection of Historic and Cultural Resources <br />(36 CFR 800). <br />Please provide this office with the results of the survey for our review of <br />professional adequacy and compliance. <br />Arthur C.
