i~
s.
~~
Susan Mowry -2-
4.06, 4.09 and 4.15 (Rule 4.19.1(2)(e)).
June 1, 1981
Zn addition, in order to demonstrate conformance with the requirements of
Rule 4.14.2(1)(b), the applicant should provide a stability analysis of
the proposed configurations for backfilled surface facilities. All final
grading shall achieve a static slope safety factor in excess of 1.3.
If the applicant proposes to retain the sediment pond following final reclamation
as a stock watering pond, the application must be amended to conform with
the requirements of Rule 4.05.9. '
The application's maps suggest that the stream channel within the area of the
surface facilities is proposed to be permanently z'echanmlized.. This rechannel-
ization should conform with the requirements of Rule 4.05.3, or the area
should be returned to approximate original contour and the channel reestablished
in its original location.
R uhsidanca
If you and Roy Cox agree with the applicant's contention that no structures or
renewable resource lands exists within the potentially affected area of the
five-year permit, then no further response to Rule 2.05.6(6) is required of
the applicant.
cc: Fred Banta
