•
John Husband
March 13, 1995
Page 2
2. The non-federal coal lease area has been shaded on Exhibit
12-1. The remainder of the proposed mining area falls
within the federal lease. The mining sequence and timing
of activities on the federal lease is now available.
General Comments
la. The title page for Appendix 3-3 was revised to indicate
"for the Yoast Mine".
b. Reference to Coal Lease C-48547 has been deleted from
Parcels 23 and 26 in Appendix 3-3.
c. In Appendix 3-3, Parcels 11, 23, 26, 46, 65, 68, 69, and 71
were revised to show the correct boundaries for Coal Lease
COC-0114093.
2. The right of entry list in Appendix 3-4, Volume 1 of the
PAP pertains to the area inside the permit boundary. Tract
71 is not within the permit boundary.
• 3. The effective date of the modified coal lease is 9/1/94;
however, the document granting Seneca Coal Company right of
entry is that certain Assignment of Federal Coal Lease
dated 9/15/94 and is indicated as such on Page 3-4-3 of
Appendix 3-4.
The revised pages to the PAP incorporating the above responses
will be sent to you and CDMG along with the response package
that addresses comments from the Division's January 20 and 24,
1995 letters. Please contact Mike Altavilla or me if you have
any questions.
Sincerely,
Gary W.
