I have also
discussed the response to Stipulation No. 1 witn Roy Cox. We both find
the operator's response to stipulation No. 1 to be satisfactory.
The operator's response to Stipulation No. 2 does not directly address
the stipulation, and it is uncertain whether the response is acceptable.
The operator must clarify that water from the wash bay well would no
longer be discharged to the stream/alluvial aquifer system. This could
be accomplished by discontinuing use of water from the-spoils aquifer, or
by returning the water to the spoils aquifer fol]owing its use.
This response snould be clarified as soon as possible. If you or the
operator have any questions, feel free to ask.
/e p
cc: Jim Pendleton
toy Cox
Ed Bischoff
Doc.
