Larye areas of Map I!9 (1anr7 use) arc ,losiynnted as "pastureland". <br />When compared with hfap N7 (pre-mining vcyetntion), many of the areas desiynated <br />"pastureland" contain natural vegetation oC types not usually associated with <br />"land(s) actively manage c7 for grazing, browsing, or Ccr orcn;ional hay production" <br />(I.09.71(b)). Would not some of these areas be batter designated as "rangelands"? <br />Please clarify. <br />2.04.10 Vegetation <br />v 1. The applicant states peak flowering occurs ,rrouml,Tuly 1, but <br />sampling occurred in late sununer. What eCCrr,t, if any, r.~~,uld this data of <br />sampling have on missing a particular cool season component of the vegetation? <br />. 2.
