<br /> <br />Coal Processing Waste and Non-Coal Processing Waste (2.05.3(8), 2.05.4(2)(f), <br />4.10, 4.11) <br />In constructing the Cameo refuse pile, Powderhorn Coal Company will conform <br />to the Rocky Mountain Geotechnical report recorrunendations, including the in- <br />stallation of a piezometric monitoring system. Powderhorn Coal Company will <br />also comply with applicable parts of 4.10, 4.11, and 4.09.1, 4.09.2, except <br />to the extent that the requirements of those subsections are varied in <br />4.10.4. The specific measures to be employed include the following: <br />-Piezometric monitoring of the coal processing waste embankment to assess <br />the accuracy of the assumptions used in the design analysis. <br />-Monitoring of side slopes to maintain a maximum slope angle of 2.3:1. <br />-Material will be compacted to a minimum dry density of 80 pcf. <br />-Quarterly inspections for stability by a registered professional engineer <br />will be completed throughout construction. A copy of the inspection report <br />will be retained at the mine office. <br />
