If additional mine
fans are proposed in the future, a technical revision to the permit would be
necessary. A technical revision entails newspaper publication and opportunity
for public comment and objection.
The proposed decision was published in the May 14, and May 21 editions of the
Delta County Independent. The paper did not receive a copy of the notice in
time to publish initially on May 10, as I had intended.
It is my understanding that your letter of May 4, 1984 does not constitute a
formal objection to the proposed decision. If that is not tFe case, please
let me know.
Sincerely,
y_~`~ ~ ,,
Dan Mathews
Reclamation Specialist
DM/yt
Doc.
