Box 772129 <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado 80977 <br />Re: Energy No. 3 Mine Application <br />Our File No. C-036-8I <br />Dear Gary: <br />This letter is to inform you that the adequacy review of the above application <br />is complete and. that the Division is proceeding on our technical review. <br />To date you should have received three adequacy letters dated June 2, 9, <br />and 16. <br />Enclosed you will find a memo from Jim Pendleton of our staff, who did the <br />technical review on Backfilling and Grading, Waste Material and Spoil, and <br />Subsidence. <br />The Division has also completed a technical review of Topsoil, Topsoil <br />Randling, and Prime Farmlands. With the exception of the one problem noted <br />in our June 2 adequacy letter, the Division has not identified any additional <br />concerns with these sections. <br />The Division is also proceeding with a technical review of the Sediment <br />Control System and Operations plan.
