on the North facing slope would occur during the winter months. Therefore, BLUE
FLAME COAL MINE revises the table to reflect reclamation occuring in September and

(6) Regarding the Divisions concern of q15 in the March 3, 1986, Adequacy
Review Letter to BLUE FLAK COAL MIPE, pursuant to revegetation success criteria
for a herbaceous vegetation community, cover of the revegetated area shall be at
least 90~ of the cover as determined From any referenr_ed area outside the disturbed
area and approved with 90$ statistical confidence. For the woody vegetation com-
[twnities, cover of the revegetated area shall be at least 90~ of the cover as det-
ermined from any similar reference area outside the disturbed area, and meet the ap-
proved standard with 80~ statistical confidence. BLUE FLAME COAL MINE will demon-
strate via a Soil Conservation Service survey that adequate species diversity has
been achieved on the revegetated area, BLUE FLAME COAL MIKE will also demonstrate
that the vegetation on the reclaimed surface consists of a mixture of the species
of the same seasonal variety native to the area of the disturbed land, or of species
that will support the post mining land use. Vegetation on the reclaimed surface will
be equal to or superior in utility for the approved post mining land use when com-
pared with the ulitity of naturally occuring vegetation during each season of the
year.
