1
The Colorado Division of Wildlife (CDOW) and the United States
' Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) have reviewed the initial
drilling program in order to provide T & E clearance. These
agencies have also been provided a copy of this modification. If
' in the event time restrictions apply or site specific threatened
and endangered species clearances are required, it is requested
that the NOI be approved, stipulating that each specific hole can
be drilled only after appropriate conditions are satisfied.
Cultural Resources
' No known sites of cultural interest are located at any drill site
or access corridor location. In the event that there is Federal
involvement in this program, a professional survey will be
' conducted to identify any cultural resources in the project area.
The results of these surveys will be provided to D.M.G. and to
the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation for their
' review of professional adequacy and compliance with regulations.
8. Confidentiality
The prospector does request that the Appendix 2, Confidential
Appendix of this Notice be considered confidential. This
' appendix is clearly marked "Confidential" and is presented as a
separate document. Justification for this information to be
treated as confidential is in the fact that it was derived from
' interpretive geologic modeling which effects the commercial
viability of the reserve.
' 9. Filing at County Courthouse
This modification has been filed with the Routt County
' Courthouse.
' 10. Estimated Reclamation Costs
Reclamation cost estimates have been included in Appendix 1, in
order to assist in determining the amount of Performance Bond
required. Reclamation costs for the initial seven holes, Sites A
through G are presented separately, from the eleven holes
proposed by this modification.
t 11. Reclaimed Drill Hole identification
' As previously stated the reclaimed drill hole locations will be
marked with a steel fence post, when located outside of plowed
fields. All drill hole locations will be accurately surveyed,
' allowing for identification at any time.
