Annual <br />production is anticipated to be held at 3.9 million tons, producing a total o` <br />approximately 31 million tons o` coal over the proposed B-year mining period. <br />In the planned expansion, energy Fuels proposes to construct an additional 5 <br />miles of class I road (4 miles exist presently) for access and haulage wad a^ <br />undeterained nuaber of class III roads as needed. No new railroad lines or <br />facilities will be constructed. The company will maintain existing production <br />and employment levels and use existing plant and loadout facilities, railroad <br />spur, telephone and power lines, and support facilities. <br />Alte-natives (Including the Proposed Action) ,. <br />Proposed Action (or Alternative 1) <br />This action is approval with the stipulations necessary to meet the <br />requirements of SMCRA (?L 95-87 ), the initial regulatory pro~C-am regulations <br />(30 CFP. 211 and 7'_0) implementing SMCRA, the performance standards of the <br />permanent pry gram regulations (with the exception of the standards for <br />contemporaneous reclamation- 30 CFR 816.1D0), the conditions of the leases, <br />and all other applicable Federal laws (Fish and wildlife Coordination Act of <br />1934, National historic Preservation Act of 1966, Archeological and Yistoric <br />Preserva_ion Act of 1974, the Antiquities Act of 1906, the Clean Air Act, the <br />Clew.-;'tee=er Act, etc.).
