Box 58
Delta, Colorado 81416
Re: Permit Issuance to Blue Ribbon Mine -File No. C-047-81
Dear Mr. Tate:
On October 21, 1982, the Division issued its proposed decision to approve,
with stipulations, a permit to conduct coal mining in accordance with the
Colorado Surface Coal Minino Reclamation Act of 1979. Our decision was
published on October 21 and 25, 1982, in the Detla County Independent news-
paper. The 30-day public comment period has expired and no comments, objec-
tions, or requests for a formal hearing were received.
The Division has received, and approved, the bond rider submitted by Blue
Ribbon Coal Company on November 24, 1982. The bond in the amount of
$85,000.00 payable to the State of Colorado and the United States of
America, fulfills the bonding requirements of the Division.
As the application, bonding and public notice requirements have been satisfied,
the Division will now issue a "Plining Permit-Coal", no. C-047-81, to Blue
Ribbon Coal Company.
A permit is available at our office. An authorized representative from Blue
Ribbon Coal Company must sign the permit, agreeing with its conditions and
stipulations and have it notarized. When we have received the signed and
notarized permit, our Director will sign the permit to finalize it.
Please contact me to arrange a time to complete the signatures and finalize
the permit.
Sincerely,
i
Robert G.
