The SCS Stated that in a SCS publ.icatior. it was <br />concluded that there are no prime farmlands in JacY.son County. Th~a <br />Division will contact the SCS to detezlnine i~~hether JacF;son County has <br />been completely surveyed. <br />G. Operations Descri nti on <br />1) Flatiron will provide 'additiona). discussion of~pZacemenC of <br />weathered coal, saline/sodic topsoil and bony coal .in pit. A <br />discussion of how these will affect hackfilling and reclamation, <br />and subsurface water should be inr_luded. <br />2) The Division is reviewing the overburden to determine whether <br />selective handling of any overburden strata will be required. <br />H. BacF:filling and Gradiny <br />1) Flatiron will provide an esCimatcd and site specific swell factor <br />and corroborating calculations for the Bourg site. <br />2) Flatiron will provide additional discussion of post-mining <br />topography, approximate original contour, necessity of the east Damp. <br />and appropriateness of the post-mining geomorphic surface in terms <br />of stability, drainage density, excess spoil, and similarity to adjacent <br />landforms. <br />3) Flatiron will provide additional discussion of cafes of reclamation <br />in terms of contemporaneous reclamation. <br />I. Coal Processing [taste and Non-Coal Processing Waste <br />Z) Flatiron will address existence and disposal methods for these <br />materials. <br />J. Roads <br />1) Flatiron will address items i-6 (Pfarch 1£1, 19E2 nicmo) for ~zll roads <br />within the permit area. <br />2) Flatiron needs to provide spccitications, and designs for ca o5 0( <br />the culverts along the haul road across BLPf Land. <br />
