SheltorT <br />Director <br />tic Notice <br />This publication constitutes notice of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division's prnposed decision approving an application fora permit to <br />conduct coal mining under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The application was submitted by Stlnland <br />Mining Corporation, P.O. Box 55, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467 for the <br />Apex No. 2 Mine. The effective date of this decision is April l4, 1983. <br />The area to be mined~by underground methods is located in Routt County <br />approximately 6.5 miles north of the town of Oak Creek.alonn Routt (:ounty <br />Road 26 in Sections 21 and 22, T4N, R8661, 6 P.M.. The surface of the <br />proposed permit area is owned by: Knott Land and Livestock, George Hanemann, <br />E.A. Eyre and E.H. Yorty. The coal is federally owned. <br />Copies of the proposed decision are available for inspection at the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 423, Centennial Building, <br />1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affeced by the proposed <br />decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board on the proposed decision. Such a request must be made by May 15, 1983, <br />be in writing, and state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the <br />request and the objections to the proposed decision. <br />/ep <br />
