The <br />applicant's responses to our adequacy comments have resolved all but a <br />few remaining minor concerns, most of them typographical in nature. I <br />have prepared the attached draft findings assuming that these minor <br />problems will be resolved prior to your publishing our proposed <br />decision. Those remaining problems are as follows: <br />{1) Subsidence: <br />Within the proposed revision to page 2.05-59 of the permit <br />application, the applicant refers to a structure located in the SW <br />1/4 of Section 19. In actuality, as depicted on Map 4a, the <br />structure appears to be located in the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of <br />Section 19. <br />(;') Subsidence: <br />Within the proposed revision to page 2.05-50 of the permit <br />application, the applicant refers to Exhibit 6, entitled <br />"Subsidence Predictions". In fact, the reference should be made to <br />Exhibit 5a. <br />(:l) Concurrent Surface and Underground Mining and Variances from <br />C~>ntemporaneous Reclamation <br />In response to earlier adequacy comments from the Division, the <br />applicant has committed to the installation of monuments and the <br />performance of slope stability monitoring within the vicinity of <br />the proposed underground portals. The applicant overlooked <br />commitment to submission of the monitoring results to the Division <br />for review.
