Dept of Natural Resource <br />I want to take this opportunity <br />as Mr. Dave Shelton, Mr. Bob Little <br />the time give me on September 9 and <br />Mining's pending permit. <br />to thank yourself as well <br />and Mr. Brian Munson for <br />10 concerning Trinidad Basin <br />We will continue to submit to P2r. Little any and all new <br />hydrologic data as it is received now and after the issuance of <br />the permit. <br />I would very much like to maintain the time schedule give me <br />in the meeting of September 10 for advertising the permit no later <br />than the week of September 20, 1982 and if at any time during <br />the continued review process we can assist or provide additional <br />data please feel free to contact me. <br />Mike, as you are aware, Trinidad Basin Mining is shut doen <br />and faces the possible loss of its order for coal if they do not <br />go back to mining immediately. This could not only be a tremendous <br />set back for them but may be a loss for yourselves as fas as <br />continued reclamation on the old works are concerned. <br />Please do everything you can to expedite the final permit <br />to avoid just that. <br />As discussed, I will return to your office either Friday, <br />September 17, 1982 or the first part of the following week to go <br />over your finding prior to advertising as well as the bond <br />computation. <br />P.
